Enrollment is quick and easy. Just fill out the registration page, make a registration appointment, and make a payment.
Appointments take 20-30 minutes and the student and a parent (if the student is under 18) should attend.
Class is 8 hours on your class date and lunch is provided. In person students will take the written test at the end of class. If you're taking class online, you'll make an appointment to take your test. When you pass your written test, you'll receive a temporary permit.
Students under 17 are required to hold a learner's permit for 12 months or until they turn 17, whichever comes first. The Kansas Instructional Permit requires a written test only, so go ahead and get that as soon as possible after class by taking your temporary permit to the DMV. We come to you! Our individual driving instruction will pick you up for each appointment and teach you all of the essentials to make sure you're confident behind the wheel. The instructor will also be grading your skills demonstration for your driving test. As long as you pass, you'll receive a certificate of completion.
Students under 17 who have held their learner's permit for 12 months or more are now eligible for their restricted license. Students who are 17 or older are eligible for their unrestricted license even if they have never held a learner's permit.
