Our classroom is open! We’re currently offering our driving school in our classroom or in a live online format, so you can choose the format that best fits your learning style. Seating is still limited, so sign up early and select “classroom” during your registration if you prefer to take class in person. To find out more about our live online format, visit our online instruction tab.
Regardless of where you are in the driving permit process, we’re here to help you get your license. Class is designed to prepare you for the written test and our experienced, qualified driving instructors can answer your questions during the driving lessons.
Class begins promptly at 8:00 am and ends at 4:30 pm. If you’re coming to class, please arrive by 7:45 am. A pizza lunch will be provided for in person students. You are welcome to bring your own lunch if you wish or if you have allergy or dietary restrictions.
For students applying for their instruction permit, we recommend making an appointment at a DMV office as soon as possible, as long as your appointment date is after your class date. Most DMV locations are currently operating on an appointment basis only and wait times for appointments can be several weeks.
To make an appointment, visit the Kansas DMV appointment website. For more information about the driver’s education process, click here.
Update: The DMV location in El Dorado is using a text system to get in line instead of appointments. Text ELDTAG to 316-333-3412 to get in line. Note: There is no testing at this location, so this is only for driving school students who have a Driver Education Permit from us for their instructional permit or a Certificate of Completion from us for their restricted or non-restricted license. Check here to make sure you have all of your necessary documents before you get in line.
The new DMV office at Kellogg and Tyler is taking walk-ins during limited hours. You can call this office at (316) 337-6690 to confirm walk-in hours.
Full payment can be made at your registration or the day of class at check-in by check or cash.
Credit card payments can only be processed online using the buttons below:
During registration, please make an appointment to come by before class to fill out all the necessary forms. You must complete this appointment prior to class.
For students under 18, a parent will need to be present for this meeting to sign the course contract.
Students need to bring (or wear) their glasses or contacts if they require them for driving and bring their Kansas ID or Kansas Instructional Permit if they have one (an instructional permit or state issued ID is not required to take the class!)
The driving school is located at 1735 E 2nd St N. Wichita, KS 67214.
